Harvey and Hill lead Cardinals in nail biter win over Randolph Southern

Seton Catholic wins their 4th in a row to move to 4-1 on the season after a 75-74 nail biter at Randolph Southern.

Seton led most of the way but trailed late. Timely free throws and defensive stops helped the Cardinals to seal the victory.

Seton was led by Mason Harvey who had 21 points with 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Dorian Hill added 15 points 5 rebounds and 6 assists. Fellow Senior Tristian Washington had 12 points 6 rebounds and 3 assists. Elijah Falcone scored 10 points with 4 rebounds 3 assists and took 2 charges. Braiden Hogg made the 5th Cardinal to score double figures with 10 points 5 rebounds and 3 assists. Sophomore Andrew Warner chipped in 6 points. As a team, Seton had 12 steals and took 5 charges.

Cardinals are back in action on the road Friday vs Oldenburg Academy before returning home Saturday vs Anderson Prep Academy.

Seton Catholic JV defeated Randolph Southern 63-41 to remain undefeated at 5-0 on the season. Sonny Stanley had 15 points 5 rebounds and 5 assists. Nolan Burkhardt had a double-double with 12 points and 10 rebounds. Malik Walker added 11 points 4 rebounds and 6 assists. Jack Martin also reached double figures with 10 points scored. Kenny Gihozo had 4 points and Diego Julian tallied 11 rebounds. For the 2nd straight game every JV Cardinal player scored.
