Pamplin twins combine for 6 total touchdowns in Bulldogs romp of Tri 69-6

Centerville’s offense and defense was clicking on all cylinders on Friday night in the Bulldogs dominating win over Tri, 69-6.

Centerville struck first and never looked back as they led 34-0 after one, 55-0 at halftime, 69-0 after three, and 69-6 at the final horn.

Centerville was led in large part by stellar play from Sophomore Quarterback Jake Tinkle. Jake threw four touchdown passes and also rushed for a touchdown. Jake finished with a career high day in passing yards, passing touchdowns, and total yardage.

The Pamplin twins went back to work again as they combined for a total of six Bulldog Touchdowns. Tinkle connected with Jamari Pamplin for two touchdowns (37 yards and 50 yards) and Javontae Pamplin for one touchdown (25 yards). Jamari finished with four total touchdowns, two rushing (4 yards and 44 yards) and two receiving (37 yards and 50 yards). Javontae Pamplin had two touchdowns, one rushing (28 yards) and one receiving (25 yards). The Pamplin twins continue their dominance on the offensive side of things as they now account for twelve touchdowns this season in only four games.

The Bulldog defense was stout and played physical all night. They pitched a shutout all the at until the Titans offense squeezed out six points in the 4th quarter. Centerville created countless punts, turnover on downs, and fumbles. Centerville’s defense has now only allowed thirty-five points on the season and only twenty-two in Tri- Eastern Conference play.
