Hagerstown Tigers defeated the Lincoln Golden Eagles on Monday night in an absolute classic. It was a pitchers duel to say the least as there were only three total hits in the game and one run.
Lincoln’s Mason Dick took the mound, and kept things scoreless up until the Tigers crossed one in the fourth (Hagerstown’s Kayne Ervin). He kept his Eagles alive though as Mason got them out of the fourth, and kept things scoreless the rest of the way. Mason finished with 7 innings pitched, 3 hits, 1 run, 0 walks, and 4 strikeouts.
Hagerstown’s Dominic Anderson threw a complete game no-hitter. Dominic racked up strikeouts as he struck out 14 Eagles on the evening. Anderson only allowed 1 walk as well. Dominic’s stats – 7 innings pitched, 0 hits, 0 runs, 1 walk, and 14 strikeouts.
