On Tuesday night we had a battle of the Richmond, Indiana teams as Seton Catholic traveled to Richmond for a boys basketball matchup.
It was an energetic and lively game as both teams gave 100% all 32 minutes. It was Richmond prevailing as they grabbed the lead in the 3rd quarter and never looked back defeating Seton 56-49.
Richmond was led by Stephen Douglas who finished with 19 points. Other contributors for the Red Devils include Tylan Harris with 11 points, Dorion Smith with 10 points, and Tim Arnold with 10 points.
Seton was led on the night by Jake Moynihan who finished again with double-double (23 points/15 rebounds). Sam Casper had 10 points, Jonah Falcone had 8 points, Andrew Himes had 5 points, Jake Davis had 2 points, and Braiden Hogg with 1 point.
Richmond now moves to 9-9 on the season and will take on Franklin County on Thursday. Seton will fall to 6-9 and will shift their focus to the State Tournament starting next week.
