Lady Tigers claim 5th place at Edinburgh Holiday Classic

The tournament didn’t start the way Coach Oliger and the Lady Tigers would have liked, but the Lady Tigers turned it around capturing 5th place at the Edinburgh Holiday Classic.

They started with a tough match-up with Jac-Cen-Del (Edinburgh Holiday Classic Champs) on December 21st, where they fell 53-29. Hagerstown then turned it around in game two defeating South Decatur 50-31, to shoot them into the 5th place game on December 22nd. Hagerstown picked up right where they left off Monday night as they defeated Indianapolis Lutheren in the 5th place game 47-21.

This was a good tournament for the Lady Tigers as a mix of competition levels which will help prepare them for the upcoming Wayne County Tournament and the State Tournament upcoming quickly.

Hagerstown’s next match-up will be in the Wayne County Tournament on January 7th where they will take on the Lady Knights from Northeastern. Northeastern won the first match-up on the year 55-38 on December 19th.
