The Bulldogs are coming into the 2020 season with a new mentality after a tough 0-9 season a year ago. They are younger and hungrier than ever before. With new faces and underclassmen the Bulldogs are rejuvenated for this season. The Bulldogs will be led by seniors Mikey Davis, Austin Moore, and Sam Steinfort; and juniors Jacob Fordonski and Kasen Duncan. The Bulldogs struggled to score last season with scoring only two goals all year, but with a new offense implemented by Coach Ricardo Torres the Bulldogs look ready to go. The depth of three goalies (Mason Rosenburger, Ethan Bain, and Camron Ramsey) will be an addition for this team as they allowed 55 goals a year ago. This team got off to a hot start with a 2-1 win in their scrimmage against Franklin County this past Saturday. The Bulldogs will look to continue their success at home against the Knightstown Panthers on August 24th at 7pm! The Bulldogs fell to the Panthers last season twice by a score of 3 – 0 and 5 – 0.
Richmond Red Devils:
The Red Devils are coming into the 2020 season with a wiped mindset. After a tough 1-14-1 season a year ago, the Red Devils look to keep that in the past. They finished tenth in the North Central Conference last season. The Red Devils will be led by new head coach Carson Jones. Jones spent the last two years as the Red Devils assistant coach. The Red Devils scored nine goals a year ago, and will be looking to increase that total with Coach Jones offense. The Red Devils will open their season at home against Mt. Vernon on August 18th at 6pm. The Devils fell to the Wildcats by a score of 8 – 0 last season.
Seton Catholic Cardinals:
The Cardinals are looking to bounce back this 2020 season after finishing with a 2-13 (Last in the PAAC) record a year ago. They will be backed by fifth year coach Kyle Dunn. This team will be a bit younger this season after graduating four seniors last year (Josh Brown, Will Brenneke, Louie Falcone, and Brandon Chandler). The Cardinals will be led by sophomores Elijah Falcone and Ryan Murray; junior Brendon Brown; and Senior Xen Cartwright. Ryan Murray will look to be a key to the Cardinals offense after scoring four goals last year in his freshman campaign. They will look to clean up their defense and rely on the good hands of Keegan Bane protecting the net. The Cardinals will look to drive off the success they had in Sectionals last season into the early part of the 2020 season. The Cardinals will kick of the season at home against Anderson Prep Academy on August 22nd at 10am! Anderson Prep defeated Seton a year ago by a score of 4 – 3.

This team will be led by sophomores Gabby Duke and Ali Hemmerling; junior Jaedyn Marshall; and seniors Grace Carter, Bailey Horner, and Lainie Marshall. Anna Davis, freshman, is showing promise here in the early offseason. The Lady Bulldogs will be led on offense by returning goal scorers: Lainie Marshall (6 goals), Grace Carter (5 goals), and Jaedyn Marshall (3 goals). Sophomore Ali Hemmerling will protect the net for Centerville. Last season, she held her own as a freshman helping lead her team to a Sectional Championship. The Lady Bulldogs will look to build off the success from last season as they take on National Trail on August 24th and Knightstown on August 25th at Centerville. The Lady Bulldogs defeated National Trail last season 6 – 0 and Knightstown twice with scores of 3 – 0 and 2 – 1.
